Financial Accounting Foundation Launches Live Video Webcasting of FASB
Meetings
Norwalk, CT, December 7, 2010—The Financial
Accounting Foundation (FAF) today announced the launch of its new video
webcasting service. The FAF is the independent, private-sector organization
responsible for the oversight of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)
and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
The first
meetings to be video webcast will be two FASB meetings taking place on
Wednesday, December 8: its joint meeting with the International Accounting
Standards Board (IASB), beginning at 8:00 a.m. eastern standard time (EST), and
the FASB weekly Board meeting, beginning at approximately 10:15 a.m. EST. The
webcasts will be available here.

the Financial Accounting Foundation
The FAF is responsible for
the oversight, administration, and finances of both the Financial Accounting
Standards Board and its counterpart for state and local government, the
Governmental Accounting Standards Board. The FAF also is responsible for
selecting the members of both Boards and their respective Advisory
Councils.
