FAF Grants Free Online Access to FASB Codification and GARS

The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) has officially launched its free online access to the FASB Accounting Standards Codification® and the Governmental Accounting Research System™ (GARS); accordingly, the previous paid “Professional View” subscription tier is being eliminated. The FAF has indicated that its aim in granting free access to the Codification and GARS is to enhance the accessibility of accounting standards for both stakeholders and the wider public.
