SEC Holds Roundtable on Executive Compensation
June 27, 2025
On June 26, 2025, the SEC held a roundtable to consider whether the
current disclosure requirements related to executive compensation achieve the
Commission’s objectives. As noted in a statement by SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, the SEC’s rules “must be
grounded in achieving the Commission’s three-part mission: investor protection,
fair, orderly and efficient markets, and capital formation.”

Caroline Crenshaw, Hester Peirce, and Mark Uyeda.
