PCAOB to Consider Concept Release on Possible Revisions To the Standard on Audit Confirmations


Washington, DC, April 9, 2009 – The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has scheduled an Open Meeting for Tuesday, April 14, at 9:30 a.m., in the Board's open meeting room at 1666 K St. N.W., Washington, D.C.

The Board will consider issuing a concept release regarding possible revisions to the PCAOB's auditing standard on audit confirmations.

The meeting is open to the public and Webcast from the PCAOB Web site (www.pcaobus.org). The meeting also will be available via podcast later that day.
