PCAOB to Consider Reproposal of Auditing Standard on Communications with Audit Committees

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has scheduled an Open Meeting for Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at 9:30 a.m., to consider reproposing an auditing standard on Communications with Audit Committees, and other amendments to PCAOB standards.

The PCAOB initially proposed this standard on March 29, 2010. It is being reproposed to seek further comments.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place in the PCAOB meeting room at 1666 K St. N.W., Washington, D.C. It will be webcast via a link on the PCAOB Web site, and available via podcast later in the day.
