Washington, D.C., Feb. 26, 2013 — The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that it will hold a Credit Ratings Roundtable on May 14 in response to a recent staff report on credit ratings and related matters.
The event will be held at the SEC´s headquarters in Washington, D.C., and will be open to the public and webcast live on the SEC´s website. Information on the agenda and participants will be issued at a later date.
A recent report by the SEC staff, required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, recommended that the Commission convene a roundtable to discuss the staff´s report. The roundtable will provide a forum for discussion of the staff´s Report on Assigned Credit Ratings.
