New content and improved user navigation for the IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated in HTML

 20 October 2016

We are pleased to announce the publication of the enhanced IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated 2016 in HTML. The IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated presents IFRS Taxonomy content in a PDF or HTML format. Its aim is to facilitate understanding of the taxonomy by those users who do not have expert technical knowledge of eXtensible Business Reporting Language
(XBRL).

The IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated 2016 in HTML now includes, for the first time, the IFRS Taxonomy documentation labels. Documentation labels provide a description of the meaning of IFRS Taxonomy elements. Until now, documentation labels were only available within either a separate Excel file or IFRS Taxonomy XBRL files.

The IFRS Taxonomy Illustrated 2016 also includes new functionality that makes it easier for a user to navigate the IFRS Taxonomy. For example, there is now an option to customise the view of the publication by collapsing or expanding particular content.
