IFRS Foundation Trustees consult on global approach to sustainability reporting
The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation have published a Consultation Paper to assess demand for global
sustainability standards and, if demand is strong, assess whether and to what extent
the Foundation might contribute to the development of such standards.
Speech: IASB Chair's keynote at the IFRS Foundation Virtual Conference
Hans Hoogervorst focused on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Board's work as well
as how the principle-based nature of IFRS Standards means companies may already need
to reflect climate-related risks in their financial statements.
Help enhance the value of eIFRS
All eIFRS subscribers are being asked to complete a simple 20-minute survey and give their input on the
current eIFRS site and possible new features.
