PCAOB Issues Concept Release on Quality Control

The PCAOB has issued a concept release, Potential Approach to Revisions to PCAOB Quality Control Standards.

As stated in the PCAOB’s press release, the Board seeks to determine “the approach and what changes it might propose in the future to strengthen the PCAOB's requirements for audit firms' quality control systems.”

Comments on the concept release are due by March 16, 2020.
