GASB Proposes Postponing the Effective Dates of Certain Pronouncements

The GASB has issued an exposure draft (ED), Postponement of the Effective Dates of Certain Authoritative Guidance. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the GASB is issuing the ED to provide relief to state and local governments from implementing almost all statements and implementation guides that are effective for fiscal year 2019 and later.
