PCC Holds April 2020 Meeting

The Private Company Council (PCC) held a meeting with the FASB on April 17, 2020.
Topics discussed at the meeting included:
- A potential practical expedient related to measuring the grant-date fair value of equity-classified share-based payment awards.
- Progress with implementing the revenue recognition standard.
- Overview of the conceptual framework projects related to elements, measurement, and presentation.
- Emerging financial reporting issues that affect private companies, including those related to leases, fair value measurement, interest income recognition, and small business administration loans.
- Research findings related to trends associated with audited GAAP-based financial statements for private companies.
