PCC Holds December 2020 Meeting

The Private Company Council (PCC) held a meeting with the FASB on December 3,
2020.
Topics discussed at the meeting included:
- A potential practical expedient related to measuring the grant-date fair value of equity-classified share-based payment awards.
- Current issues in financial reporting.
- Update on the identifiable intangible assets and subsequent accounting for goodwill project.
- Outreach activities of the working group for profits interests and their interrelationship with partnership accounting.
- Progress in implementing the revenue recognition and leases standards.
- Overview of the research project on share-based payment disclosures.
The next PCC meeting is scheduled for April 19–20, 2021. For more
