SEC Proposes Increasing the Reporting Threshold of Form 13-F
July 13, 2020
The SEC has issued a proposed
rule, Reporting Threshold for Institutional Investment
Managers. The proposal would elevate the threshold for Form 13-F reporting
by investment managers from $100 million to $3.5 billion and would “increase the
information provided by institutional investment managers by eliminating the
omission threshold for individual securities and requiring managers to provide
additional identifying information.”

release and statement by SEC Commissioner Allison H. Lee on the SEC’s Web
site.
