FASB Appoints New Technical Director and EITF Chairman

The FASB has appointed Hillary Salo as its director of technical activities and as chairman of the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF). Ms. Salo will begin her new positions in August 2020 and will replace interim director of technical activities Shayne Kuhaneck, who has been filling the role since May 2019.
