FASB Discusses Project on the Recognition and Measurement of Revenue Contracts With Customers in a Business Combination

At its September 23, 2020, meeting, the FASB decided to add a research project to its technical agenda to address the recognition and measurement of revenue contracts with customers in a business combination. The Board began initial deliberations, made several decisions, and directed its staff to begin drafting a proposed ASU for a vote by written ballot.
