SEC Seeks Feedback on Possible Changes to EDGAR Filer Access and Account Management Processes

The SEC has issued a request for comment, Potential Technical Changes to EDGAR Filer Access and Filer Account Management Processes.

Specifically, the SEC is seeking feedback on “potential technical changes related to how entities and individuals access the Commission’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system (‘EDGAR’) to make submissions, and how these entities and individuals (‘filers’) manage the permissions of individuals who may file on EDGAR on their behalf.”

Comments are due by the later of December 1, 2021, or 30 days after the date of publication in the Federal Register.
