FASB Discusses Project on Consolidation Reorganization and Targeted Improvements

At its April 20, 2022, meeting, the FASB discussed the feedback it received on its current project on consolidation reorganization and improvements in response to the Board’s 2021 invitation to comment Agenda Consultation. The Board decided to remove the project from its technical agenda.

In addition, the Board decided to add to its agenda a research project that will explore whether a single consolidation model could be developed for business entities.
