SEC Proposes Rule to Strengthen Best-Execution Standards

The SEC has issued a proposed rule, Regulation Best Execution, that would establish a “best execution regulatory framework for brokers, dealers, government securities brokers, government securities dealers, and municipal securities dealers.”
