AICPA Issues Proposed SAS Related to Compliance Audits

The AICPA’s Auditing Standards Board has issued a proposed SAS that would amend AU-C Section 935 to reflect the issuance of SAS 142, Audit Evidence, and SAS 145, Understanding the Entity and Its Environment and Assessing the Risks of Material Misstatement. Comments on the proposed SAS are due by May 16, 2022.
