PCC Holds June 2022 Meeting

The Private Company Council (PCC) held a meeting with the FASB on June 23–24, 2022.
Topics discussed at the meeting included:

Disaggregation of income statement expenses.

Accounting for and disclosure of digital assets.

Implementation issues related to the Board’s leasing guidance (ASC 842).

Stock compensation disclosures.

Identifiable intangible assets and subsequent accounting for goodwill.

The Board’s ongoing activities related to its agenda consultation.

Accounting for environmental credit programs.

EITF Issue No. 21-A, “Accounting for Investments in Tax Credit Structures Using the Proportional Amortization Method.”

Accounting for increasing freight costs related to inventory.
