SEC Requests Feedback on Whether Certain Information Providers Are Acting as Investment Advisers

The SEC has issued Request for Comment on Certain Information Providers Acting as Investment Advisers. Specifically, the Commission is seeking feedback on whether certain “information providers” are performing activities consistent with those of an “investment adviser” in accordance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
