FASB Staff Issues Proposed GAAP Taxonomy Implementation Guide Related to Investment Companies

The FASB staff has issued a proposed GAAP taxonomy implementation guide, Financial Services — Investment Companies (Including SEC S-X Schedules for Business Development Companies). The proposal includes “examples to help users of the Taxonomy understand how the modeling for the reporting by investment companies is structured within the Taxonomy.” Comments on the proposed taxonomy implementation guide are due by December 14, 2022.
