AICPA Releases Working Draft of Accounting and Valuation Guide on Business Combinations

The AICPA has issued a working draft of an Accounting and Valuation Guide Business Combinations. The guide’s objective is to “assist companies in addressing the challenges associated with accounting for business combination transactions as well as valuation of assets acquired and liabilities assumed.” Comments on the working draft are due by January 15, 2023.
