FASB Staff Proposes GAAP Taxonomy Improvements Related to Proposed ASU on Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses

The FASB staff has released proposed GAAP taxonomy improvements related to its proposed Accounting Standards Update (ASU) Income Statement — Reporting Comprehensive Income — Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. Comments on the proposed improvements are due by October 30, 2023.
