SEC Proposes Updates to Regulation SCI
March 16, 2023
The SEC has issued a proposed
rule, Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity. The
proposal would “expand and update Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (SCI),
the set of rules adopted in 2014 to help address technological vulnerabilities in
the U.S. securities markets and improve Commission oversight of the core technology
of key U.S. securities markets entities (SCI entities).”
Comments on the proposed rule are due 60 days after the date of its publication in
the Federal Register.
