FASB Announces Roundtable on Proposal Related to Disclosures About Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses

The FASB has announced that it plans to hold a public roundtable on December 13, 2023, to discuss its proposed Accounting Standards Update (ASU) Income Statement — Reporting Comprehensive Income — Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40): Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. The online registration deadline for the roundtable is October 16, 2023. Comments on the proposed ASU are due by October 30, 2023.
