Government Agencies Release Proposal Related to Financial Data Transparency
August 5, 2024
The SEC, in conjunction with a number of other federal agencies, has released a
proposed rule in response to a mandate of the
Financial Data Transparency Act of 2022. Specifically, the proposal would “promote
interoperability of financial regulatory data across the agencies by establishing
common identifiers for entities, geographic locations, dates, and certain products
and currencies.”
