FASB’s Small Business Advisory Committee Holds November Meeting

At its November 21, 2024, meeting, the FASB’s Small Business Advisory Committee
discussed the following topics:
- FASB’s proposed Accounting Standards Update (ASU) on share-based consideration payable to a customer.
- FASB’s invitation to comment on key performance indicators for business entities.
- Narrow-scope improvements to the FASB’s proposed ASU on the interim disclosure requirements.
- FASB’s proposed ASU on determining the acquirer in an acquisition of a variable interest entity.
- EITF Issue on issuance of new debt to repay old debt.
- Tentative decisions made by the Private Company Council regarding its project related to applying the guidance on credit losses in ASC 326 to “current accounts receivable and current contract assets arising from transactions accounted for under [ASC] 606.”
