PCAOB Issues Publication on Conversations With Audit Committee Chairs

The PCAOB has released a spotlight publication that provides “high-level observations and takeaways” from the Board’s conversations with more than 200 audit committee chairs during 2023. The purpose of these conversations, which are held annually, is to “provide an opportunity for the PCAOB to hear the perspectives and observations of audit committee chairs and for the PCAOB to share information and resources with audit committees to help them improve audit quality.”
