CAQ Releases Audit Committee Practices Report

The CAQ, in conjunction with Deloitte’s Center for Board Effectiveness, has released the third edition of its publication Audit Committee Practices Report: Common Threads Across Audit Committees. The primary purpose of this publication, which is based on data collected from a survey of audit committee professionals, is to “provide directors — especially audit committee members — and governance professionals insights into audit committee priorities, challenges, and opportunities.” The survey results revealed that the top two priorities for audit committees continue to be (1) cybersecurity and (2) enterprise risk management.
