FASB Proposes Improvements to Hedge Accounting Guidance

The FASB has issued a proposed ASU that would amend certain facets of the hedge accounting guidance in ASC 815. The proposal is intended to address issues raised by stakeholders during the implementation of ASU 2017-12 as well as more recent concerns that have surfaced as a result of the global reference rate reform initiative.
