SEC Releases Update to Financial Reporting Manual

The SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance has released an update (as of December 4, 2025) to its Financial Reporting Manual. This update contains revisions to reflect the guidance in SEC Final Rule Release No. 33-11265, Special Purpose Acquisition Companies, Shell Companies, and Projections, which became effective on July 1, 2024.
