FASB Holds July 23 Meeting

At its July 23, 2025, meeting, the FASB discussed comments received on the 34 issues addressed in the Board’s January 2025 proposed ASU that would make minor improvements to the Codification (i.e., technical corrections and other minor amendments and clarifications). The Board has determined that the benefits of the guidance in the proposal would outweigh the costs and has directed the staff to draft a final ASU for a vote by written ballot.
