FASB Releases Recap of Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee Meeting

The FASB has posted to its Web site the meeting recap for the October 7, 2025, meeting of the Board’s Not-for-Profit (NFP) Advisory Committee. Topics discussed at the meeting included:

• Emerging financial issues in the NFP sector.
• The FASB’s agenda consultation, including feedback received on the Board’s January 2025 invitation to comment on this topic.
• The FASB’s research project on the accounting for and disclosure of intangibles.
• The applicability of certain FASB projects and standards to NFP entities.
