PCAOB Releases Publication on SPAC IPOs

The PCAOB has released a new publication, Auditors of SPACs at IPO, as part of its Data Points series. The publication details data on initial public offerings (IPOs) of special-purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), as listed on U.S. exchanges between January 2015 and August 2025. The data include “the IPO date, the SPAC business location, and the auditor at the IPO date.”
