PCAOB Releases Q&As Related to Quality Control Standard

The PCAOB has released a series of Q&As on matters related to the implementation of the Board’s new quality control standard, QC 1000. Topics addressed in the Q&As include:

• The firm’s process for assessing quality risks.
• Ethics and independence.
• Personnel and technological resources.
• Communication of information obtained during inspections.
• The monitoring and remediation process.
• Evaluation, reporting, and documentation.
