SEC Releases Report on Small Business Forum

The SEC has released a report that provides the Commission and Congress with feedback on the SEC’s 45th annual Small Business Forum, which took place on March 9, 2026. Specifically, the report summarizes “the forum proceedings, policy recommendations developed by participants for changes to the capital-raising framework, and the Commission’s responses to those recommendations.” Topics addressed during the forum sessions included (1) early-stage capital raising, (2) growth-stage companies and smaller funds, and (3) small-cap companies and the public markets.
