SEC Announces Date for Virtual Roundtable on Emerging Markets

The SEC has announced that it will hold a roundtable meeting via webcast on July 9, 2020, for investors, other market participants, regulators, and industry experts. The roundtable will address the risks of investing in emerging markets, including China, and “will explore ways to raise investor awareness of these risks and potential additional steps that can be taken to mitigate them.”
