AICPA Issues White Paper on the Use of Blockchain

The AICPA has issued a white paper, Implications of the Use of Blockchain in SOC for Service Organization Examinations.

The document (1) highlights unique features of blockchain and (2) describes the implications of “the use of blockchain in a system used to provide services to user entities of a SOC for service organization report.”
