FASB Staff Issues Proposed GAAP Taxonomy Style Guide and Updates GAAP Taxonomy FAQ Document

The FASB staff has issued a proposed GAAP taxonomy style guide, Reference Style Guide. Comments on the proposed guide are due by March 17, 2023.

In addition, the staff has updated its FAQs on the GAAP taxonomy, revising questions in several sections and including a new question on tagging the value for the term length of leasehold improvements in disclosures about the useful lives of property, plant, and equipment.
