EITF Holds June 15 Meeting

At its June 15, 2023, meeting, the EITF discussed Issue No. 23-A, “Induced Conversions of Convertible Debt Instruments.” The EITF did not make any decisions at this meeting (the purpose of the meeting was “educational”). However, the Task Force identified topics for the FASB staff to research and noted that these will be discussed at a future meeting. The next EITF meeting is scheduled for September 14, 2023.
