CAQ Releases 2024 Audit Committee Transparency Barometer

The Center for Audit Quality (CAQ) has released its Audit Committee Transparency Barometer 2024. This publication, which is released annually, “highlights the progress that has been made in audit committee disclosures since [the CAQ] began tracking in 2014 and emphasizes the need for audit committees to continue to raise the bar with their disclosures each year.” Among other enhancements, the 2024 edition includes “a new question . . . about whether the board of directors discloses a skills matrix.”
