SEC Announces Withdrawal of Certain Proposed Rules

The SEC has announced that it is withdrawing certain of its proposed rules released from March 2022 to November 2023 because it does not expect to pursue final rulemaking related to these proposals. The Commission further notes that if it “decides to pursue future regulatory action in any of these areas, it will issue a new proposed rule.”
