SEC and FDA Enter Into Memorandum of Understanding

The SEC has announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The
MoU is “designed to assist the agencies in carrying out their respective missions of
ensuring the integrity of the financial markets and protecting public health.”
Specifically, it establishes “a framework to support the parties’ respective regulatory
and enforcement responsibilities and otherwise enhance cooperation.” For more
